Adventure Brunch #19 -- May 18, 2019

#19 - Saturday, May 18

Samir and Methty met new-to-the-area adventurers Zuzu the Half-Sun Elf and Jingles the Tabaxi at Sybil's Tavern. They also met Meow, Jingle's giant honey badger pet. Meow snuck out of the stables and into the kitchen to steal food from Cookies because honey badgers just don't give a fuck. It took some attempts to wrangle him but eventually Methty managed to get Meow back to the stables. During the commotion, the group was approached by Razana of the House of Dust, who requested their assistance in purging and sanctifying a haunted house between Veriscali and Grimmor. 

The The full party of Zuzu, Jingles (and Meow), Methty, Samir and Razana forth and successfully traversed the scary manor, despite Samir getting possessed by a ghost and seeing the first layer of HELL(!), Zuzu getting carried away by a flying monster, Methy sticking her face into what was obviously a huge vat of something evil which subsequently pierced her face, and Jingle being convinced he should melee the giant putrid zombie beast (when he is a squishy ranger). Everyone survived having a stone table thrown at them, and came away with some interesting elvish loot. Zuzu is determined to return later for the leafy chairs and mossy beds.

The strange winter elf's minions and a large "zombie monster" (with a Sylvan "A" in a magic circle on its forehead) was defeated after tossing people about by their heads. Later, something burst from the monster's stomach and walked away while the party was not paying attention. This party succeeded in their objective and walked away with various new magic items and 414 exp.
