Adventure Brunch #29 -- October 26, 2019

The party of Hadija, Jingles, Shakax & Zura set out to the area known as the Sylvan Tower. The team met with Anu the curator, Ima Faoche the intended druid of the area, and a mysterious fey creature staying at the tower from a previous encounter. This fey creature was singing a song, and performing somatic gestures which seem to electrify the air, and cause slight tremors in the earth. The primary target of her attention was a giant blighted tree which seem to be healing somewhat from its corruption.

The party of Hadija, Jingles, & Zura w/out Shakax set out into the barracks of the stronghold that surrounds the Sylvan Tower. They went down several layers underground and found a series of caverns previously visited. Within the caverns were a swarms of spiders and three giant spiders were living. The adventurers attempted to exterminate the spiders which lead to:

Hadija being poisoned and paralyzed with 0 hp.
Zura not being poisoned but unconscious "several" times with 0 hp.
Jingles with under 10 hp, healing the both his party members, and finishing off all the spiders.

After the excitement had ended and the party attempted a short rest to attempt to return to the stronghold. They were however confronted and harassed by strange dark creatures. These small shadowy figures sang dark lyrics in child like voices emerging and dissolving in to shadows. The darted in and out of the parties visions hindering the parties ability to take a short rest. The party attempted to attack them but were unable to make any physical contact. Upon a failed attack the creature feared the party causing them to drop the poisoned and unconscious Hadija on the ground like a sack of potatoes, Jingles was feared back in to the stronghold, and Zura back into the caverns and out a cavern exit not previously found. They ran for an hour before they came back to their senses, far from anything they would recognize, isolated and in hostile corrupted woods.
