Sister2Sister Adventure #1 -- April 17, 2020

Hotaru, the Tsaesci female human cleric of the trickster god Inari Okami, and Vashe, the female tiefling rogue, became incidental room mates and fast friends in Veriscali as they successfully found lodging among the more wealthy and superstitious residents of the city.

Deciding to go on a shopping excursion after a slew of "exorcisms," the pair ventured around the Souk. Hotaru bought some fire gummies and figs, and quickly discovered the fire gummies didn't agree with her. The pretty tiefling lady who suggested them to her successfully tricked the trickster this time!

While attempting to soothe Hotaru's burning taste buds, she and Vashe went into Haneb's Brew and stumbled upon a group of noble-looking people discussing what sounded like a coup d'etat against the Pasha! Apparently the nobles meet there often. Hotaru and Vashe decided they didn't like the look of them, and Hotaru successfully picked the pocket of one. The pocket held a very ugly necklace; hopefully it is valuable anyway.

Stopping by the entrance to the Black Market, Vashe received a new mission from her debt-owner: to acquire a frog-shaped hookah recently bought by the hedge witch Needja. Hotaru thinks anything is better than fighting a bugbear and goblins, but Vashe is not so sure... They also visited Saak’em’s Magical Shop and Vashe picked up a tarot card set. Saak'em also gave her the book Tarot for Dummies after she attempted to read his cards.

The two ended their excursion at Sybil's Tavern, where Hotaru met Tenten, a fellow Tsaesci human who seemed nice and discussed food with her. Vashe tried to play Black Jack but lost money, and then suspiciously met out back with another suspicious character and learned of some ruins outside of the city (on the other side from Needja) that allegedly has treasure--and danger!

Hotaru and Vashe plan to head out to Needja's hut in the morning, after staying the night at the Tavern. They still don't know how to acquire the frog hookah, but will sleep on it.
