Tethyrian
Tethyrian hair and eye color varies widely, with brown hair and blue eyes being most common. Most Tethyrians are proud of their multi-ethnic heritage, seeing their society as having defeated all would-be conquerors through assimilation rather than empire. Tethyrians are suspicious of remote rulers and large realms, a cultural bias reflected in the predominance of city-states over kingdoms and empires in Tethyrian-dominated regions. If Tethyrians have a common weakness, it is their reluctance to come together in common cause with those who are not their immediate neighbors.
Mulan
Mulan were an arrogant, conservative group, resistant to change and convinced of their cultural superiority over all others. Mulan felt they were more civilized, inventive, and capable than other ethnic groups and believed strongly in the values of order and discipline. All upper and middle class Mulan received at least some education, and apprenticeship at a young age was common. Mulan followed the rigid class structures of their society, and the practice of slavery was commonplace. They also had a strong tradition in the use of magic, but disagreed over the pursuit of arcane versus divine magic.
Damaran
Damara was divided into countries ruled by noble houses but united under the throne of Damara. These provinces were baronies, or city states, with craftsmen and trade centers, and duchies, or supply provinces, with farming and mining communities.
